Signing of Memorandum on Intention of Common Cooperation between Academy of Science of Moldova and PRISA Foundation

In the framework of deepening collaboration between civil society and academic environment, PRISA Foundation and Academy of Science of Moldova, having in mind the importance of defining the methods of assuring national security by means of law supremacy and principles of democratic values and other threats toward national security as well as continuation of national security and justice sectors reform, signed a Memorandum of Intention on Common Cooperation |

Memorandum was singed: from Academy of Science of Moldova by Academic Gheorghe Duca, Chairman of the Academy and from PRISA Foundation by PhD Valeriu Plesca, Chairman of Foundation. Mr.Gheorghe Duca mentioned that the aim of Memorandum is to develop a collaboration based on reciprocal interest and benefits in the field of scientific research, experience exchange as well as common participation in national and international projects and programs. He also underlined that singing of document respectively represent a good beginning of scientific and civil society’s connection.
According to the Memorandum provisions, the collaboration programs for conducting scientific researches and activities of reciprocal interest will be concluded and implemented. . |

At his turn, Mr. Valeriu Plesca specified that signing of Memorandum would allow unification of potential of the institution, which he represent, with scientific potential of the Academy of Science of Moldova for the purpose of assisting in promoting democratic reforms in justice and national security sectors. Presently, it is very vital that all efforts be unified in order to provide assistance in effective implementation of democratic reforms in Moldova by providing scientific national as well as international expertise. Meantime, such step would legitimize corresponding reforms within population..
